The week of Of July 7-13 started out with a 8-2 loss to Centennial on Tuesday Night. Centennial controlled the game
from start to finish as we split the season series at one apiece. The loss dropped our all-time
record vs. the Cougars to 18-3.
The frustration continued at Forest Lake on Thursday with a 16-6 run rule loss to the Brewers. The was 3-3 early until Forest Lake
out scored us 13-3 to end the game. The loss also meant a series split on the season with our all-time record
dropping to 32-21 vs. the Brew Crew.
On Sunday, the Birds swept league newcomer Twin Ports 4-2 and 12-2 to end the week at .500. The wins
improved our League record to 7-2, 12-5 overall.
The loss on Thursday to Forest Lake was our finally our 100th League loss in 20+ seasons.
Pretty impressive as our League record after Sundays sweep sits
at 253-100 .717
